Overview

We offer refunds and returns within 30 days of product shipment. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

The customer must cover the return shipping cost. This shipping amount will be deducted from any refund issued.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

We offer full refunds if item return is begun within 30 days of product shipment.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Most returns are processed in 3 days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping returns

To return your product, reach out to us by replying to your shipment confirmation email. We will then help you get the process started.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping and initial shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Warranty

The Backcountry Swell Warranties recycled plastic parts to be free from major defects in manufacturing or material for a period of six months from the date of purchase. The Warranty does not cover impact damage or any UV Damage.

Warranty does not apply to non-plastic parts. For example, Approach ski bindings, skins, and risers are not covered by warranty. Skateboard trucks, wheels and bearings are also not covered by warranty.

There are no warranties that extend beyond the warranty specified herein. 

Warranty claims must be issued a return authorization prior to shipping to The Backcountry Swell
The Backcountry Swell reserves the right to determine if a product will be covered under warranty once the product has been received. 

We only replace items if they are defective. All claims must be emailed to [email protected]
Once images and/or the return item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the required information. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your replacement.

The customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs under warranty.
